What was wrong with rome 2(it is on my wishlist D;)

The game in it's current state is great.
Though it's taken a year, and 15 patches to take it to that state.

It think that says all you need to know really.

Afterwind does sound a bit like the massive shits and farts you have the morning after a dynamite hot chilli.

Well aleast the bad players can stay in their own little groups away from good afterwind players now.

As if that is going to happen. How about you reward those who stand alone against a secret alliance by granting the 10 players with the most SP next round access? Naturally in a 2 vs 1 the single player will always have more SP, even if he loses.
Also, this will prevent people picking obscure places and securing a finals place simply by doing nothing. End the game at 10 players left, sort after SP.

yeah i think a 25 turn 2 or 3min turn with most sp would work good, i think if it is 50 the secret alliances will get most sp because they will knock players out, also makes the heats nice and short.

for prizes i will possibly reward game winner 1st place and 2nd and third most sp over 50 turns, though this might still benefit secret allainces.

How about we play total annihilation?

I know this might sound retarded, but since secret alliance are unstoppable tbh, maybe a team game? Divide balanced teams and PC's are not a reward and only trophy to winners, what do you think? Like 5-6 teams, and each game is 4v4 or something or even 5v5

Meester tried something like this but in Casual... It failed cause of secret alliances throughout clan mates etc.. How will you work it out if you do it?

i don't know, in the heat where 10 players go through I guess it is inevitable, i'll try and split clan members up in the heats lolz. In the end it's no alliance, someone has to win, and it's more for first, so you're probably gonna end up pissing your friends off if you get first over them cause more PC

Tourney info and rules:

this will be a 40 man (or more depending on signups) tourney with two heats of 10 players of each heat heading to the final 20 man round.
if 60 players sign up it will be 4 15 players heats with top 5 going through
10 or 15k funds (to be decided)
the time is 4mins and cannot be changed unless under unanimous decision before the game.
You must be rank 7+ to join
No first turn wallfuck (in the event of this you will be disqualified and 11th place will take your position if you happen to stay and finish in the top 10)

Remember guys if you make secret alliances you are only ruining the fun for yourselves and others

I don't know where my gif of doing portugal/spain border is.

For erasing countries just go to the country tab and delete said country.

As far as i know when you are making a scenario you can only make one nation the sole controller of a country.

I would like the ability to make anyone the controller of any of the cities.

Also i would like to make it possible that certain cities in a country can be neutral as well.

The reason for this is to not unbalance the map by making cities independent countries which causes capitals to become less and less important.

a good example would be my current Roman map I am making, in a second Punic war setting.

World has mostly always been about spam. 3v3 never really has been. but i think it has always been incredibly formulated

world and bigger maps with people of varying skill you have to plan ahead more, and there are more about how decisive your moves are.

In 3v3 you are just playing out expansions and movesets that have been developed over time, any quick action you do make you have probably done 1000 time before or have seen someone else do 1000 times before in another 3v3. Which makes it all quite stale and boring to me.

I just won a 10k world game as pakistan easily. dear god the quality of players has reduced

5k is not a good game type to be honest, north korea normally wins, which is why every 5k game i join i join as blitz tawain to beat and troll nk then leave.

Not everyone gets the same amount of SP after the same period of time, that's why I proposed to add in a little boost per hour.

you're really not getting the point are you.

if you are getting such a small amount of sp you are playing badly, you are too defensive, you're allying too many people, you aren't utilizing you strategy effectively (in the case of mos and gw).

If this does come into play,sure you will get more sp, but so will I, and everyone who is earning more sp in their games will earn relatively more sp.

so say for example

i get 5k in 4 hours
you get 1k in 4 hours

because of bonuses we both get a 25% more sp

5000*1.25 = 6250
1000*1.25= 1250

you gained an extra 250 sp, i gain an extra 1250. 1000 more than you, so i will earn more sp than you and quicker because of it, so what you are proposing will not help you anyway
