Since there is first turn peace now, could there be a button where we can like, offer to extend that peace on the first turn instead of having to wait until the second. I figure if I have a first turn peace with someone, and I want to keep it, it would be nice if I could, so turn 1 were at peace, and if they agree to the request I send them, turn 2 were also at peace. I say this because establishing things like this in-game early does make a difference in my opinion, and although I know this really isn't a big issue like you can private message them and be like blah blah blah, it's convenient and I'm not sure how hard it would be to implement but I'm hoping not too hard. ^Okay if you didn't understand that. Like you know on the first turn you have war/alliance options, I'm just asking if they can include an option like "extend peace", since it isn't there on the first turn, and it automatically cancels peace the second turn. Again I know it might be a bit of a minor thing but yeah lol.

I honestly don't understand what you're suggesting. Are you saying extend the 1st turn peace to multiple turns or something else?

No okay, I'm asking if they can add a button on the first turn that allows me to offer peace for longer than the first turn. Because currently you can't.

Ok now I get it. Sure, sounds like a good enough idea. I don't think it'd be too hard to add.

I like the idea. I think it would also be cool if the starting peace was permanent until you change it - if you actually had to declare war on a nation to attack. This would make the game a lot more like real-life, I would say, because very few nations invade without warning and those that do either end up having their psycho leader commit suicide or getting two nukes dropped on them in a few years.

Yeah, what you suggested also sounds great as well and Idk either of the two things, what I suggested or what you suggested would be nice to see. Just would be funny watching people in the beginners room not doing anything cause they had no idea why they couldn't attack each other lol, because they couldn't figure out how to declare war XD.

I would prefer this to auto-war on turn 2. It forces the declaration of war if you want to attack someone. I also would like to see war to be automatically declared if a nation crosses into territory of another nation they are at peace with. Currently massed troops on the border can charge through a defensive line if "Peace" exists. I figure that "Peace" should mean respecting each others territorial integrity. Alliance should allow transiting another nation's territory but not peace.

I agree with Cow, it should be add, but keep the auto-war by default.
Indeed, it's a nice idea that adds a whole new level of importance to peace and alliance stats, while also making country borders count to something apart from visual. I hope it's possible to be implemented some day.

Sorry for my late reply, didn't see this until today Its a great idea , i really love it! Imo you should always start in peace with all opponents, and indeed; when moving into enemy territory automaticly declaring war (unless you are allied). War = Fighting Peace = Tolerating each other without fighting (but also no access to enemy territory without going to war) Alliance = Fighting together and have open borders.
