Optimates Recruitment Thread

The Optimates is a clan dedicated to map makers, scenario players and competitive players. Optimates is really a new type of clan, it is a hybrid clan between map makers/scenario players/cw'ers. We are trying to bring the majority of map makers together to protect the content that we make. We are also trying something new and so far it has been working great. We have grown from 20 players to 46 players in the span of a couple days. This may be discouraging but there are reasons for having such a large clan. If you take a look at our members you will see alot of r0's r1's r2's and r3's. This is because we are also trying to recruit outside of atwar to 1. get more members, 2. grow the game and etc. However, please not that this is not an academy, this is not a place to roleplay, this is a legitimate clan based on the fundamentals of atwar and scenarios/map making

Here are the type of people we are looking for

- Map makers who are looking to expand their skills/seek help.

The optimates have some of the best (arguably the best) map makers in the history of atwar. These people are willing to spread their knowledge and help anyone who is trying to make good/decent maps.

- People who are interested in map making but haven't started.

We will try to help motivate you and guide you through the basics of map making. Honestly at first map making is discouraging but once you get the basics it is no where near as bad.

- Scenario players.

This is pretty self explanatory, we are looking to grow our scenario player fanbase so that we can fill games and overall have a good time.

- Competitive players.

This may seem odd that a clan so focused and based around scenarios, but we have a competitive wing and we have around 4 players (2 experienced, 2 new people) who are beginning to train. We are going to start cwing very soon so if you are interested in starting in a new clan with new people to meet, come join us.
