How to handle Belgium as Greece. EU+ 5k

Been noticing a pattern, I usually start at Greece, expand into Turkey first then Ukraine, all while this is happening Blegium gets UK,France and Germany.

Any advice on how to deal/prevent this?

It would be better to take italy rome and naples if you can so he cant spread there and directly endanger your capital , after that take milano and with your transport take either austria or hung or small balkans and start pressuring him in germany while spreading into neutrals.

Pushing through the balkans is probably a better idea, then going into italy like ghost said... greece should have from greece up to austria by turn 4 or so.

Push through rome, balkans, and up to germany. if you take too long your basically ceding all of the rich western countries to belgium.

another idea is you could even transport up to austria in the first turn to allow you to establish a stronghold up in germany early into the game

Pick a good strat first of all. If it's an expensive strat go towards rich countries quick (Romania (which is low priority), Italy, Austria, Germany). If it's a cheap strategy, expand as fast as you can and outnumber your opponent. Again, Italy (Rome & Naples) t1 is the usual. I don't often play Greece, but when I do, I normally take Turkey after turn 4 (unless pressured) when it's east vs west, choosing to set up a good income and dominate Balkans and Germany preferably before going for the unit spam that Turkey is.
Also don't forget about Spain, Bilbao is great for threatening London and Paris (even Belgium itself with NC), and Barcelona means an easy way to get reinforcements to Rome to protect it, and through chaining, to Greece or even Ankara.

Just go gw serbia, it's a lot better for expanding due to its central location and you can usually beat belgium easily

Blitz expand rome turin naples. Then rush paris turn 2.

Dont play 5k. it is a garbage setting.
