Today, 11th of November, democracy has failed in Portugal, after the elections of October the 4th ensured the re-election of Passos Coelho, leader of the center-right wing coalition to rule for another four years (thank god!), the leftist parties, Communists, Left Bloc and the Greens have signed a government deal to rule Portugal, rejecting their defeat in the elections and try to impose their government/rule by "force", trying to impose our President to appoint them after the fall of the current Passos Coelho's government, fall of which is iminent. This proves the fact that the left wing, who claim to "worship" freedom and call themselves the real "freedom fighters" have imposed their will and parties in the country, with no election to give them such power. http://www.marketwatch.com/story/portugals-leftists-likely-to-oust-new-government-in-austerity-vote-2015-11-10?siteid=rss&rss=1

Just read left wing parties have won most votes in the elections... but failed to create a coalition, probably leaving them without a mandate to make the government. What do you mean by "force" btw. ...if its how i read, there was a voting about "giving trust" to the government and your parliment electors said, no. And what is a parliment but the representatives of the people. Democracy seem to won... Nothing out of ordinary.

>people choose Left >rightwingers cry It is democracy, deal with it. If you want to win then better create paramilitary and try coup - but i don't recommend it since Left shown that they are stronger in war than Right. I congratulate Portuguese people for taking a stand, saying what they want, and achieving set goal. Now watch carefully and observe Brussels, EU is created to serve you, not vice-versa. If they don't accept your terms and wishes you should try to reform EU or leave, but collect all the informations first, and do referendums, see what people think.

It all started like this: The center-right wing coalition, made of Social-Democrats (PSD) and the Democratic Christian Party (CDS/PP) were re-elected but they lost the absolute majority (+50% of the votes),[so if this was 10 years ago, they would be able to rule because the left-wing hated each other (Left Bloc and the Communists] Then, seeing that the right-wing government lost its majority and depended on the Socialist Party (PS) to rule, its leader, António Costa-a guy who was Mayor of Lisbon and placed Lisbon into a 200 million euros debt- (yes, he did a crappy management of the city) decided to sign a "coalition deal" despite the fact they had lost the elections with the Communist Party, Left Bloc and the Greens, thus combining all the percentages of the 4 parties (Socialist, Communist, Left Bloc and Greens) such left-wing government would have more "total" percentage of the votes all combined and would be "entitled" to rule. The thing is the right-wing government fell due to a conspiracy of the left-wing, who made a "government" deal to rule despite the fact they had lost the elections. I personally dont like the right-wing government that governed from 2011 to 2015 due to their austerity and their policies against the poor, but I dont support a left-wing based coalition government, for the simple fact Commies and Left Bloc in Portugal hate each other, both want to abolish the armed forces in a country like ours, and both want to remove Portugal from Nato (!!!), not to mention leftists governed the country in some provisionary governments after the Carnation Revlution of '74.

I disagree the policy of "vassalage" Portugal has been doing towards Brussels, but the leftists we have in power (Left Bloc) are too volatile to be in a government.

Technically Socialist Party and Social Democrats on a Parliamentary level dont have much difference, but on a municipality level, Socialists are bigger. The thing is democracy didn't prevail, the winner of the elections isnt ruling, and if democracy is to happen, then let us make new elections with the current coalitions, because I'm sure that new elections are called and a Right-wing coalition vs a Left-wing coalition, the left would lose a vast majority of the votes, because many socialist voters dislike an approach to the left, and prefer an approach to the right.

Interesting think you said, one i actually thought about today... post election coalitions. I mean tehnically you gave your vote to a political party and trust in their future decisions... but how is it democracy if politicians break their words as soon as the election is over or dont act according to their promises Example in my country... Coalition of independent center won huge amount of seats in parliment and they promised, no they signed an agreement taking a vow of not joining a coalition with either right or left wing But this was before they had any idea that they would have such a huge success in the elections... right and left both dont have enough seats for a president to give the mandate to either coalitions and the center has the final say on who is going to form the government So, we have: - right wing with 59 out of 151 seats - left wing with 56 out of 151 seats + smaller parties adding them the number in post alliance to 67 - and center with 19 seats Does 19 asses in search for a government chair might start falling apart, joining one side or the other... but the thing is people who voted for them voted out of protest against both right wing thiefs and incompetent left

if the right parties have real ideology and are not just pile of people who take care of themselves only they should prevent left coalition because they have more seats (if i understood what you said). sorry, if the right wing had more seats and still did'nt prevent opposite ideology government so it does'nt deserve to represent the people, next elections you will have other parties

They all have the same core ideology => once you realize what it is, you free yourself of the divisive and distracting politics. (Hint: all parties follow the same globalist agenda.)

alright... let me rephrase. No one wise and with integrity would support the core ideology: only degenerates. So it's natural to get what you have in Portugal (same as in many nations). So why follow them? Are there no 'wise' people left?
