There needs to be 'self-governance' for those who don't want to make others responsible for their own decisions.

I have to point out that Communism is compatible with Democracy and Dictatorship with Capitalism (you didnt add it).

Also, Communism/Socialism is economic ideology, not political, like Capitalism, while Democracy is about politics, its not same category.

Can i ask you to explain Authoritarianism and Despotism? I dont understand that part.

As i learned from history, Despot is person who rule some region(regional title) in the name of Monarch, Despot is title bigger than Lord(usually local title) but smaller than Prince. Title of Despot are used in Byzantine Empire and kingdoms in its zone of influence like Bulgaria and Serbia. But that 'despotism' doesnt fit in your category i believe.

When you say "compatible", are you saying those are the only choices? ie. Capitalism only works with dictatorship, etc.

As for Communism, I was always under the impression that it ws both an economic AND political ideology ("true" communism is obviously economic ideology but also wants to have no government as all people are equal). Socialism I agree is more economical, but I can see how it can be construed as political in nature.

Authoritarian - favoring or enforcing strict obedience to authority, especially that of the government, at the expense of personal freedom.
Despotism (is like an absolute form of ruling above monarchy) - the exercise of absolute power, especially in a cruel and oppressive way.
- a country or political system where the ruler holds absolute power.

Sure it does - article 1 of the UN charter says we are all born free (i.e. self-governance). But then i guess UN must exist for it to apply.

No, i say its one of options/choices. Communism doesnt have to be totalitarian and Capitalism doesnt have to be Democratic. There were many Capitalist yet Dictatorship countries especially in Latin America during Cold War. In Europe, you had Portugal and Greece.

Czechoslovakia had more freedom than USSR, Yugoslavia had one party but politics didnt interfere in economy and companies had freedom to decide with whom to do business, where to sell and buy, whom to employ or sack. Yugoslavias farms were privatized while USSR farms were nationalized like companies, and only political committee could decide how would those farms and companies work, where to sell, where and how to buy etc. China have 2 parties, and USSR had 1 party but it had elections.

Marx wanted Communism to kill politics and leaders and let people focus only on economy, but Lenin created 'vanguard' party to lead people through stages from capitalism/monarchy/dictatorship to Communism. But ended up with total party power. Nazism same had totalitarian party, but that is not strange since Nazism is one variant of Communism/Socialism.

So Despotism is another word for Dictatorship? That mean he added one of these terms redundantly?

I think more into Totalitarianism, since National Socialism wants to enter every sphere of life. social, political, economical, and dictate.
