Are you having fun with rare units?

^ I guess that would make the situation a bit better. I still don't like the randomness of it all though

No. Annoying little things. I always turn them off. You're just about to win, and the enemy runs into some random city, 13 mercenaries pop out and you're stuck for another 3 turns.

I want add rare units in scenarios like i add normal units.

Although I find rare units very entertaining and fun to use it would be nice if they were in scenarios so you could add some more already made units and also I think it would be cool if you could have more changes in the frequency settings cause I find even if I set it up to the highest setting I only get 3-4 after couquering about 30 Countries. This was you could have fun chaos matches in Europe where you start with only a little and everywhere you attack would give you some rare .

Lot of fan and happy when i found rare units , unlucky and sad when cant find them

With a mad attack radius, that'd be a good idea but I'm not going to assume they haven't thought of it before.

The rare unit system is good as it is

Make sure your rare units are not set to "None" when starting a game. The higher the chance the better. Most custom maps do not have rare units but some do. The world map has the most in my opinion.

i don't think non premiums can get rare units xaxaxa

I hate rare units, always have. They aren't a big deal in huge worldwide battles, but as someone who's been on the bad end and the good end of early game rare units, they suck. Finding 12 Partisans can greatly influence a war at turn 7, but if you or your opponent gets those 12 Partisans at turn 2 or 3 you might as well give up. It's really stupid how you can be winning or losing, but then someone just magically gets a bunch of units out of nowhere and the war turns around.

Then again I think this thread's a bit old
