Yacer Farming [DISCUSSION]

As some of you may know, there is this person called "Yacer" who has been farming Eurasia 1m 10k duels.

He is on a full-on race for the 1st place in this season, and on the last two days a lot of the discussion has become heated.

A player called Muslim brother has been trying to duel in EU+ 10k vs Yacer, and this is how it turns out

And while I don't have a screenshot, MuslimBrother made a game called "MB vs Yacer" on eu+

An even if he duels higher ranks, he keeps dueling r2s and r3s and there is no punishment for him, while last season a player called "I_Hate_You_All" (ihy for short) was removed of 40 elo at the end of last season by mods, and this caused him losing the 1st place to someone else.

First of all, what is your definition for farming?

If you consider dueling rank 2 or 3 farming then you Mr Rank 10 come and duel me? The last time you joined my duel after I started you left. You refuse to duel me in Euroasia I refuse to duel you in Europe+ why are you crying? I don't get it. Dueling other maps is totally fine, the same for the player "I hate you" or whatever he refuses to duel me in a euroasia game the same for "MB" he refuses to duel me, I duel any rank but in Euroasia not Europe. You do not force me to play your settings.

I think you already know that duels are not only Europe+ but it seems like jealousy kills you.

You say "to be open to play any kind of games" and all your games are noob eurasia 10k 1 min settings. plus, if someone pick next to you you kick them or cancel the duel. I have challenged you tons of times to have a duel on EU+ 10k and yet you reffusse, adding to the fact that suspiciously many of the low ranks you play dont make any kind of moves on the duels you have with them.

Apologies in advance for the length of the post, but the subject is complex and requires it.
As I have been called into question a couple of times, and I am actually dealing with this matter, I will have my say, as far as I can know.
Almost all of us know Yacer, some for the longest time, some more recently, the longest-lived perhaps will remember the toxicity of the player who, at least once, distinguished him (yeah he still never hold duels, trashtalk and stuff, not much more though). He is at the center of this story because lately his activities, which in reality he has always done, have increased a lot, probably due to the seasonal trophy race with me which is still in progress.

For those who are not aware I will explain briefly:
Yacer duels only and exclusively with these settings: 15k money - 1 minute - eurasia (money may change to 10k, usually not, but its still the same thing of course), the other settings are more or less the classic / legal ones: no rares, all strats allowed, extra cities, 50/100 turns, take capital and hold for 2 turns , no latejoin. He will only start the game if one picks in europe and the other in eurasia though, he won't accept facing in closer space, because it will go against his strategy wich we'll now see. The strategy and the gameplay is always the same (I am surprised in fact how he does not get bored, but this depends on him and I am no one to judge him on this), in fact he always and exclusively plays with the covert operation strategy (marines economic and defensive, cheap but scarce tanks, nerfed transport and the rest more or less normal) and also the gameplay is always the same, that is to expand a minimum on the rich areas and then start to spawn the marines everywhere, probably by setting autospawn, due to the single minute of time, but this matters little, then spend about thirty / twenty turns to create a stack of marines to be sent to the opposing capital, essentially that's all, the rest is to spawn the marines and leave them in defense where they are. (you can only do this with covert operation, because there are cheap stealth units, and it doesnt work, for istance with guerrilla warfare, because those marines would just cap, but not defend properly the city)
Consequently two main scenarios are essentially opened:
1) his opponent is a noob, or he is not aware of this strategy, and therefore 40 rounds pass - yacer caps - duel over - farm done. Why this? Because no matter how skilled you may be, you will never be able to defend a stack of 2000 troops in 60 seconds that it took him half an hour to create, for this reason the single minute is a fundamental condition of the game, I myself have offered several times to play duels in extra minutes, or perhaps in casual, an offer clearly rejected, would have thwarted his entire strategy ((**https://prnt.sc/3gFxFSj3oxgi**)). But this is nothing new, hundreds of players have asked him hundreds of times to change any game setting, always refused.
2) you are at least good at playing and you are aware of its strategy, and therefore sp farm game until the hundredth round ((**https://prnt.sc/Fs0daDkt_Ucm**))
how fun! Because with an autospawn of marines covert operation it is impossible to take the capital, and even keep it, since the marines are cheap and are also spawned around the place.

Yacer has always responded to anyone who proposes a duel (or anything) to him simply by counter-proposing his duel in the same way we now know well (even in this same discussion lol ((**https://prnt.sc/5fvxi5U7GVAB**)) ). At least personally I have even accepted this, and after having dueled with him ((**https://prnt.sc/v2BiwknlrXw2**)) I tried again a request, hoping that he had changed his mind, or at least tried to establish a dialogue to loosen, even in his interest, the weight of what he is doing. One of the other topics discussed is farming, in fact by just taking a look at the yacer duels you can see that they are almost always low-ranking people or elo (normal and / or seasonal) of 1000 or less . I'll be honest, to me this (in itself) is not a bad thing in the sense that if no one high-ranking or elo join your duels, then it's perfectly legitimate to duel with what you have. However, if you find yourself among the top of the rankings and still no one (or almost) at a minimum level has shown up for your duels, maybe it means something. Probably in fact, for people of a certain level, rank, experience, skill it was enough to look at the duel settings to decide with little doubt not to enter.
For who is curious, those are the last 36 duels of Yacer (in the moment that i am writing this) :

In summary, with an objective slant, Yacer is not doing anything illegal, for what we know. The question that arises is whether it is right and correct for a player to choose his single map, his time, his strategy, his rules, his gameplay, always in exactly the same way .... probably the answer is yes , however, if you also include the fact that this player is first, or in any case in the first places of the seasonal elo rankings, the answer is probably subject to change. (for istance, what prevents anybody to make only duels with the winning setting "take capital" and only play guerrilla warfare and send 2k marines to the other cap? thats just an example of course, it has counters and its totally losable). I personally remember that, about a year ago I reached the top ranking dueling mainly (not exclusively) with 1k starting funds, in the period that this new setting was created and introduced in the game, and this aroused similar criticism from some people. However, I have always varied maps based on the preference of the duelists I met, and sometimes even changed starting funds (you can ask, but everyone knows, i play mainly 10k and 1k but i also like very much 3k and a bit 5k also, i play cws in conventional settings aswell, and i play all maps in world and even scenarios, i also like very much casual games, well i play pretty much anything), albeit preferring the ones I like best, because it is also right to choose a game mode you prefer, but perhaps use only that one, in the way in which everyone's testimony yacer is doing, is not entirely acceptable, at least morally speaking, morover if that leads one player to win thropies, while anybody else is behaving differently.

P.C. I dont know anything about he events related to my clanmate "I_Hate_You_All" and about his elo decreasing, i haven't followed the thing at all, i suppose he has reasons, but he will obviously speak for himself.

I remind you that what I have written are mainly my opinions, with the addition here and there of some photographic evidence. Let's keep the discussion respectful and polite, and maybe we'll all get something.

My opinion is the following if lying down is really considered to be a pro player who dares once and for all to fight a duel with us with configurations established by the administrative team like when tournaments are held!

second, a range limit rule should be set to duel, so the farm elo would be avoided!

Posts specifically about other players are considered pillory. The above discussion is relevant in general, but because it contains specific players, i'm locking for now in accordance with rules. Please feel free to reopen the discussion, but keep the focus on the issues, and not the player.

Please do share your ideas about this, my personal conclusion is that enforcing any kind of "duel reform" would be unnecessary strain on moderators and the solution would have to be coded in.
