Featuring Maps

Just a thought but i think mods should have some kind of united front when it comes to featuring maps. for example i spoke with google and he talked about how featuring should be used for maps and scenerios without alot of plays vs. the already defined ones which are prettty well known and easy to find. However EJR spoke with some other mods (he didnt name them maybe he will in the comments) and they wanted to know if the map had enough plays to be featured. So some idea of what maps/scenerios can be featured would be nice and also mod willingness to make those features happens wud be cool too. In my personal opinion i agree with google that it should be used for new maps without much plays to get them out there but i also think it should be similiar to promoting a map where its temporarily featured for a month maybe?

I tried that and Sultan kept asking me to host the map(usually I wouldn't mind doing that, but I couldn't at the time so I just said fuck it) also, I hate having to continuously host my own maps(not that I don't like them, it's just that I get sick of playing the same thing over and over)

I tried that and Sultan kept asking me to host the map(usually I wouldn't mind doing that, but I couldn't at the time so I just said fuck it) also, I hate having to continuously host my own maps(not that I don't like them, it's just that I get sick of playing the same thing over and over)

Maybe it needs more tucans

Within the first two days after my promotion I un-featured maps that had been featured for years and weren't getting plays, and featured more newly created maps / maps that I knew were popular. I figured if we kept up the rotation every few months or so and let maps that were popular stick in the feature it would make everyone happy. I've been making a list of maps to feature from requests mapmakers have made to me so far. Seeing as im the only mod who really cares about maps, i am the united front
