Gentlemen, let me show you a pre-alpha of a upcoming map made by Gardevoir and his collaborator tunder3:










The Borders are made 100% from 0, using a custom background, there is no excuses.

Nice. But no that's not a 100% "custom backgroud"; the map borders weren't drew in photoshop/AnythingGardUsed.

Btw This is not a clone of the default map.

You could have made the borders in PS and then drawed on them, and then changed back to normal map. *I did that on my map hue*

I dont understand what the title has to do with the op, and its get off your high horse, i hope theyre not erm... in their horses. :S

also is this the map gard was referring to which he hopes will replace the default world map?

the backround, the countries and the water looks incredible and much more realistic, though the borders look horrendous atm, in europe anyway, not so much in africa

I would like to mention that I will be changing the background to a dim-lit winter setting that I made myself, and that Tunder was too impatient to wait for.

I apologize for the bad zoom quality, I will post a screenshoot with a different perspective and hopefully with ireland on it

What do you exactly mean by blueprints?
Trust me, it's impossible to draw the world map with photoshop or anything.

What do you exactly mean by blueprints?
Trust me, it's impossible to draw the world map with photoshop or anything.

I make templates using Photo editors before creating borders to draw over. I add correct detail as I go along, and the borders end up looking 100% accurate, and I have more time to put into detail most other cartographers don't because of it. It's not impossible in the slightest.

Basically: no added value so far.

You caught me! Sorry to say, but alcohol makes me less diplomatic and more direct in my opinion.
Btw, am I right about Deaths topics on how he defeated Andalou Panteri and how we do not care about these topics, or not?
