First it was UN, then Un was put down by Roleplay. now we need a new map to make rp go away~any ideas?

That Sapien idea was pretty good. If it was made more fast-pace then it'd be used more often. People usually leave about halfway through because of how long it takes. An extension on that idea would be legit. Or a WWIII map based off of current events.. That'd be fun.

im thinking about another kind of map:Ancient World~i mean there are many ancient world maps and if we can make a great one~it will bypass all rp maps

Yes, possibly. I always enjoyed Ancient World but it's just that people don't host it too often anymore. The China addition was good, but kind of ruined the game because of the isolation and made things too OP. What do you have in mind to add to make it better?

i like thinking more about maps like aetius anicent world with rome in eu and other trbies during like 30 bc in asia doing 1 thing and they come to together at 1 time

Well I had an idea:

So all caps are in a no-go zone. You pick your cap there and then another country somewhere else. This way, you can be extremely competitive without having to worry about dying or losing, because your cap can never be taken. People wouldn't be afraid to fight each other, because the concept of losing is impossible unless you leave.

This would make it more competitive. Because with fog the will less likely ally its neighboor so people don't get gangbang

anyway this isnt nazi germany, nobody is persecuting low ranks. theres just a little resentment towards roleplay because of the quality of players it developes.

and the reason its so popular is because of the units and flashy weaponry, this is attractive to new players. you want a new map to replace it?

1.make a world map
2. make it look good
3. add in all sorts of fancy units and weaponry realistic to their specific countries.

Adog RP is master race rp, and as I have explained in my long 22 minute recording that if noobs we're arrogant we wouldn't be rankists. However I do agree that many high ranks are a bit too rankist.

how about i go against you now?

this is not why people are playing roleplay, what low rank wants to play amongst high ranks? you just get crushed, and learn little because theyre so advanced. players need to tackle the aw learning curve at their own rate. if you're willing to learn therell be people willing to teach you. this time last year i was a rank 3.

have you ever asked a rp/scenario playing low rank why they dont want to play the default map? i have, its nothing to do with high ranks persecuting low ranks.

the answers i got were "but the default map only has boring standard tanks"

or the other answer "deafault map has no nukes and no money".

i dont think theres anything wrong with roleplay, or any scenarios/custom maps, hell i play them myself and some are really fun, but i think they shouldnt be accessible to low ranks until rank 4/5+. that way new players are directed to the default map to learn aw basics and the strats, to play the original map aw was built around. the map and strats that the admins and the community have spent 3-4 years developing and balancing.

this will

1. Increases the skill standard of new players on aw
2. new players will play more to reach rank 5 so they can play all the great custom maps/scenarios(its harder to sp farm on the default map)

Main reason about why they dont, In my opinion. In the past it was much harder with beginner for rank 0-3, no scenario. In every game rank 4,5 getting abused by rank 9's lategame. One of the commo tricks that even I used and keep using sometimes is to charge turns mins to 1. It was MUCH EASIER, they agree without read.

Plus, high ranks fear much alliances, more for backstabb that for skills or somenthing competitive-related. And so, they play alone, which mean they kill EVERYONE. One in usa, one in asia, one in europe, even one troll in africa... all the noobs who picked there would lose fast. They get "crushed". And even if they survive on a alliance-type, the other highrank will just kill them. Relations between high rank and lowrank are away cold.

In present, we have scenarios, beginner room for rank 4, other mechanism for separe highranks and lowranks. Atwar community have less highranks that before ( assuming rank 7 where capable of beat rank 9 and now they are mostly crap). Also, rank limit ( which is commo you see them nowadays.) We are just separated. Is like USA and britain, they are separated by a ocean. Although they have excelent relationships, USA wont return to be a britain colony. And so lowranks wont return to be crushed and play unfair.

Also its not about getting crushed by a high rank they like getting easy sp and being able to buy upgrades and shit without ever actually trying, they like the pokemon effect of leveling up but they dont like the amount of effort that comes with it, let the shitty low ranks that cant adapt leave and the ones that are able to survive deserve the right to play. This shouldnt be a community for making shit easy for a rank 4 it wasnt easy for you or me why should it be easy for them? we all had to get bullied by high ranks to become high ranks. Thats it, if you want to watch a community die then find another one i wont allow it.

Also the warning signs are all around you just look back and see what the community used to be like and look at it right now..... Its was fucking saturday at 9 pm EST usually the community is packed full of various games and people, there was 3 half filled roleplays and someone arguing in lobby about jewish banks. WTF wake up and see something has to change, you got to walk before you can run and run before you can fly, rank 3s skipping the learning phase cuase its easier to ally fag and spam a 300 cost tank in a 50k with 14 attack and 6 v1 people is not a solution. They should not be able to play scenario till rank 5 end of story.

I dont have the fault that there are such bad relationships between lowranks and highranks. But Devs for make the upgrade difference bigger ( General is OP. Isn it? ) And you guys for begin critized about their gameplay.

Bla, everyone is free for play what they want. If they dont want to be raped then dont fault they, since "you" has passed by there then you know how hard it is. Some people want me to make it slower and others faster. You're tearing me apart atWar!

Everybody can speak about the golden times of atwar and how much better it was then and how much it sucks now. But maybe these 'golden times' of atwar were just smoke screens. It's like when we were kids and we fell in love with the popular children's tv shows and we can say how stupid the current childrens tv shows are now. But if you go back and watch the old tv shows we used to love so much, you'll realize that those shows were equally as shitty as the ones now. This concept applies to atwar too. RP noobs played UN before RP existed. UN players played 50k world maps before UN existed. We have always had an influx of noobs who would rather do minimal work for more SP and this will remain the situation no matter map is more popular. A lot of us are unaccepting of change and would rather cling onto nostalgia than to accept what the situation really is. Heck, look at Nero's link above. Some of the same people in that thread complaining about UN have recently talked about how much they miss it. I will end with an appropriate quote which basically explains this situation:
