The civilised and educated coastal territories voted no while the degenerate goat fuckers in the interior still stuck in the middle ages voted yes. Unsurprising. Erdogan loves drawing parallels between modern Germany and the Nazis, but he himself has much more in common with them.

He made reforms (referendum), improved economy, not drastically but he did, occupied northern Syria with little resistance, repressed the media continuously, discriminated ethnic minorities, centralised the government and gave himself more authority and used pathetic excuses to take his political enemies' jobs.

He didn't improve economy US was spreading money to whole world when he started as Prime Minister in 2002 but now US isn't spreading money no more. Many countries could do somethings with that "cheap" money like South Korea but What we did? We made "Roads" and "Buildings" ... Also Northern Syria occupation? Mate Syrians invaded whole country wherever I look, I can see one of them.

I don't care about how many Syrians you see, but those Syrians aren't under any government, don't have any kind of military, and are not shelling the #1 enemy of ISIS, preventing them from finally capturing ISIS' capital and breaking it's power in Syria.

The Arab countries are the ones that should've taken them in the first place, they caused the war, deal with the consequences. Caring for the refugees despite the risk of bombing attacks is the morally right choice. Also, scholarships? It's been 4 years, and people from Syria, who were forced out of their homes, have managed to adjust in a new society to the point where they can get proper education? Eventhough 30% lives in refugee camps? Ok...

If you're arguing with me why are you upvoting my posts ._. Also on subject, Erdogan is the kind of degenerate populist who shouts out random bullshit on TV to get the people fired up and scream "YEAH GLORIOUS TURKEY WILL RULE THE WORLD BY 2023", and it works.

Hun, educate yourself and you'll see that the powers under Turkey's new "presidential system"give the president much more power than the president of the US. The US president can't rule by decree and any person the US president adds to the supreme court has to be approved by Congress. From what I understand, the Turkish president can rule by decree and appoint 5 of 13 Supreme Court Justices with no approval needed by anyone else. The closest thing a president can do in the US of ruling by decree is by making executive orders and those can be stopped immediately by federal judges which has been quite evident these last few months. The US presidential system has a system of checks and balances and it doesn't appear that the new Turkish system will have any forms of checks and balances

The Syrian Government can't capture ISIS capital because the US & NATO forces have blockaded all roads and destroyed highways leading to Raqqa and are refusing to allow the Syrian Government access. Nice listening to US propoganda. Edit: If I was Turkish, I'd rather have a person in power who has the balls to do something about the problems plaguing his country no matter whom he upsets whether it be the US, Russia, liberals, activists etc. (AKA Erdogan) than a pussyboi who thinks liberty and freedom of thought, speech and expression actually means anything to terrorists and that diplomacy will actually work.... Edit 2: Erdogan wants to crush the Kurdish rebels because they've been terrorising Turkish lands for years. But the US wants to set up a puppet police state as another foothold in the middle east (AKA Free Kurdish State) and wants the rebels to win. Erdogan is attacking the rebels, ergo US doesn't like it, ergo he becomes a monster. Have you noticed how every person who doesn't like the US is perceived as a warmonger/dictator/bla bla bla by the wider public? And yes I'm talking about Assad too, to an extent. Here's some links: https://wikileaks.org/clinton-emails/emailid/18328# ← The below link refers and links to this one, so read this first. http://www.thedailybell.com/news-analysis/false-flag-how-the-u-s-armed-syrian-rebels-to-set-up-an-excuse-to-attack-assad/

I see all the newspapers talking about a huge victory of Erdogan but well I dont see it as a huge victory. Erdogan lost in his own city,Istanbul and in Izmir and Ankara. He probably bought all the rural vote tho. Winning with electoral frauds, fake propaganda, buying votes by 1% isn't really a real victory. I don't know almost nothing about Erdogan policies but the reforms he wants to put are barbaric (more power to president, directal intelligence services control, he can present to elections until 2029). All to have the power and try to be the new Ataturk....

The Syrian government doesn't currently have the capability to capture the ISIS capital: It's the SDF that's been fighting ISIS for years and the ones that will take it. Kurdish rebels have been terrorizing Turkey because Turkey's been driving them off the edge. They make up 25% of the population yet they have no autonomy or recognition. It's funny that you're calling the only "state" in the area with proper democracy, tolerance to ethnic minorities and gender equality terrorists cand calling them a police state. Erdogan is not attacking the Syrian opposition, infact he's helping them and handed them the area between the Euphrates and Afrin. It's true that US propaganda depicts all it's enemies as evil dictators, best example of that would be Gaddafi, but that doesn't make Erdogan any less dictatorical, and it doesn't negate the fact that he fired thousands for no reason.
