World IPv6 Day is on the 8th of June.
Many old multiplayer games will unfortunately cease to work as they won't recognise IPv6 addresses. This includes legendary games like Quake that are still played avidly to this day.

Are Afterwind's servers prepared? Is the software itself going to connect IPv6 hosts together? I wish this move to IPv6 wasn't necessary, but it's a truth we all have to accept that our older games will no longer be playable.

Is Afterwind and its ISP ahead of the curve? Can AW into IPv6?

I really doubt that our hosting provider supports IPv6.

Well, as faithful customers who've paid for 2 years in a row now, you could always ask them to switch to IPv6 soon after that date when most of the world will have [hopefully] switched to IPv6 connections...
