Rejuvenation of mod squad?

Befoooore all, please, especially you moderators, dont feel hailed in negative way about this theme.

As community, we are here to talk about all kind of things, stuff and everything to improve this game, right?
But, there is one theme which is, I would say untouchable. We never openly talked about Mod squad, team or however.
I mean, not talking by pointing at one certain Mod from sqad and take out our opinions about him, but about Mod squad in global.

We all had and will have some 'argues' with certain mod when we feel withholded about something. I also had that with certain mod, but it just flew away, all comes back on old stories and gg...
Some mods are more likely to the community, some less, same as players.
We often forgot mods are players too, right?

Yes, sentence 'mods are players too' is the base of this topic.

You probably ask yourself now what the hell is wrong with this Croat.......
But, Croat wanted to take out something that has been raised and talked about so many times, but we never found even trail of changes.
Mod squad is made of people who deserved admins faith by many things (I wont point them out again because it is answered in many forums)
and they are players who are trying to keep community healthy and improve the game at all.
High percentage of them are older players, who were going through the things we are going today. They surely lost all the starting inspiration and in one hand started to be bored of this game, maybe some of them are even sicken of those moves, tbs, capping, recapping, etc...
So, they are players who went pretty inactive even with moderator role (not all).

On the other hand, there are plenty of active players who are giving a lot of effort for improving this game too and who will like to switch some moderator one day.

I have to write again before I open my last questions, now with big letters, THERE IS NO SINGLE WORD AGAINST ANY MOD AND AGAINST WORK OF ANY MOD, please understand.

So, I quoted above words of certain mod: 'mods are giving their best for keeping community healthy'

What is true.
Now, Croatian princess is asking you:
Will it be better for keeping healthy community if there are inactive players who come online from time to time
or
if there are active players, who are breathing with this game everyday and who have already give much effort for improving the game and keeping healthy community (as much as they could) ?

As conclusion, I wanted to ask all of you (admins, mods, supporters, rest of players):
- What you think about rejuvenation of mod squad?

Several mods, who really have small dose of self-criticism and feel they cannot do that much for the community as they could before when they were more active, should voluntarily (yes, voluntarily, I dont want you to feel like this is some revolution lol) go in deservedly mod retire
and several players, who are active, who are here every single day, who feel the breath of the community, who helped a lot, who are trying more and more for the game, should take their places.

OR

Only to add several active players (who are blablabla again) to the Mod squad. Just an expansion of mod squad.
Some kind of refreshing current mod squad with several active players.




Please discuss what you think about this.
Please, dont again come on theme - Mods abuse their powers, just dont do that.

But,before my comment,i MUST TELL SOME THINGS:
Warning:
This comment isnt about,hating,mod powers abusing,starting flame war.
Now:
This is community problem that i never touched before,im glad someone openned it.
I will explain problem that is from my eyes big problem:
(before reading next text,go back and read warning!)
A lot mods that played in the past are being inactive 1-2 years,and more and more mods(like a lot players)
are being from day to day more inactive.
And plus of all this(again,go read warning)
some mods are active players but they dont moderating,so we can tell that 2/3 of mods are inactive
(1/3 old players that lost inspiration to play,1/3 for mods that dont do their job,dont want to name them so pls.)
And half of this 1/3 cant moderate a lot(and its okay with me,i know,there are private life jobs,life....)
So,we can calculate 1/6 of mods that are actually moderating(3,what is from my eyes too small number)
On all of that,2 mods are picked in last 6-9 months(i think,mbe more)
Ok,when i explained problem,i have a idea for solution:
There are many players that are active,inspired and want to help community(i will tell about them after this part of my comment)like Croat,Crey and Eagle that can be moderators and i think without using my solution they would become in the future anyways.
I suggest giving them moderator positions(we all know that mods at start can just mute and ban,so they cant do anything big bla if they meant to,and they want to help i think,so we dont need to worry) so they can help,and if they do good,they keep being moderators,and do like that 3-4months to other active and inspired to help players to get minimum 10 active mods that do their job.And isnt it enough when inactive mod come and mute you for something you did 8months ago(again,no hating,just tell one of the problems why moderator squad needs to be refreshed with 6-7 active players)

I think that all mods(old mods,inactive mods,active mods)would support croat's idea.

I think that me and croat have very same solution,so,guys,tell what you think
(all,and mods pls tell what you think,i want informations how this problem looks from your eyes and do you have other solution,or you agree with croat's and mine solution)

Tl;dr

Sorry but, who you had in mind for the mod elections? Because I think if the ''active'' people in this game are getting picked out, I dont think it should be people who are doing fake things just to get what they want, or people who suddenly started to care about AW because more moderators have been picked recently. I don't care how good they were for AW, they aint reliable with these kind of powers. I think most of you guys know who I am talking about.

If mods will be picked I think people should be able to disagree or agree with, and not only friends of the moderators should have the chance to become moderator. And if a player has to much disagreements moderators/admins should respect that and think of how bad it would be for the chemistry between community and moderators to have moderators a part of the community doesn't like.

only 3 mods(1/6 of them)moderate.
We need 10 mods that moderate.

If spamming forum everyday gets you moderator, might have to try it.

Also we need some mods in time zones which aren't covered (because sometimes there aren't online mods and people abuse, insult and assistance can't be given to others). So more mods for sure!

Agree and decent mods are always hard to find.

Support! Croat is 100% right and everyone knows it we all know the mods that should be out! Fix and whoever locks proves to us why Croat is right! #TheCroatMovement

Appart from good intensions this treat will be forgotten soon, sadly but the community doesn't have a vote in mod pics. Sadly couse i remember a time when it was possible.

Croat and clovis for mods 2015 ! they are active as hell and they take this game prety seriously.
Also make Mauzer or eagle mod they deserve it ,and mk as clan deserve to have a moderator.maybe better mauzer cuz eagle cry too much about rolls xD

I know if i care or give a shit thats when you get hurt or feel frustration-

But if i just log on and treat this game like a whore and treat my m8s with respect i have a great time and i end up meeting some groovy people-

But i do know that some of the biggest dickheads i have met in this game are "mods"-

There are also other names been mentioned that i have low respect for and have my own list of gutaches-

So yeah, i d like to be able to stand up to these wankers and be able to vote em down or block them from obtaining modhood-

Support this. Would like to see some moderator, ANY moderator disagree with other ones just once, rather than unified against the playerbase all the time.

My 2 cent's on this topic,

i'm humble old noob and gamer over 25y. Must say after many games, bumped on this one and i like it very much, if i dont get blown up on work, my intention is to play it as much as i can.....

and i agree with Apeman, choose carefully because wrong mod can and will ruin some game more than 50 bad players in that game.
dunno about names and ppl just few that i meet on battlefield so choose carefully
