El and Soldier. Too Hard Punishment ?

All is in the title.

El and Soldier both got deleted all their elos.

But as far as i know they're not the first guys at all to be given elos or betting elos. ( There's still people in top rank elos thanx to this. Ahemm.)

The sanction seems a lot exagerated to me. Since it was like a well known behaviour to bet .. I'm not saying it's right but that it didn't look totally forbidden )

Why not just take back all their " farming duels " but let them at their previous elo state that they really earned.

I also think the punishment is too hard. They didn't farm all their games (even if that was gambling not farming, like tossing a coin, you got 50% for each scenario but there is a chance to never win - extremely unlucky). Keep in mind crey put had his 4 years gameplay. Their last duels should be removed not whole history because that isn't fair.

I would like if Soldier and El made this topic, where they would admit that what they have done is wrong and hurtful too seasonal elo competition, apologized to fellow players and for their arrogant behavior after some of us expressed only their opinion that this was wrong.

I would have just disqualified them from the seasonal elo competition and leave their elo and duels alone ...maybe admins thought draconic punishment was necessary to prevent others from even thinking about doing this in the future.

I still support that their duels and elo be returned ...i hate no one and its hundreds of their games taken away because what they thought they are doing wasn't wrong.

If they apologize of course.

El didnt farm or gambled for elo, just some old fags want first places.

Am in no position but why is clovis excluded? (No hard feelings for clovis) Wasnt he and Soldier carved their way in seasonal elo?

Still, 1 unintentional mistake should not mean 4 years worth of duels written off in an administrative rage

But I do know that from now on, anyone who farms/gambles/cheats should have the same punishment, at the very least.

People who farm SP lose 2.5x the sp they farmed but people who farm Elo lose all the elo and all of their duel history???

I would hope so, this comes back to consistency in moderation standards which AtWar needs more of in my humble opinion.

I don't think ELO can be compared to SP, they do not apply for the same competitions. SP nowadays is far less indicative of anything at all because of some farming maps, etc. Elo could still have a meaning if we didn't farm/gamble with it.

El creyente won dozens of duels in a matter of 10 minutes from Unknown gamer - he tried to make us all look like fools lying that it was all legit and not elo transfer

That's my same worry right now, having a standard procedure. Idk who could be responsable for deciding and writting this down, but it should be attempted as soon as possible, to avoid future indecisions.

so the severe punishment is to completly delete their duel history? these are two paying customers, one porbably gave them more money than anyone else in this. You dont simply grab their "files" and throw them in the fire.

I didn't even quote the rest it's not worth it. If Amok says gambling is breaking the rules, fine. About El what he told me is that we played those malta/cyprus duels. I believe him and if im not mistaken the gap between their duels was 3-4 mins, enough for those kind of duels. but thats just me

You're free to propose what would the "fair" punishment be... I honestly can't think of it since I have no idea of standard punishments in similar situations, there's no public standard procedure.

First of all if you believe that two players would play 10 duels on malta cyprus and one of them would win 10/10 ... xD
And the duels were played with a gap of 1 minute in between a duel ...not with a gap of 3-4 minutes.

I have bothered to actually "investigate" the accusations before i came to a conclusion ...you? He said its so, so you trust him? ...i hope you are not as naive in real life.

And did you read what i wrote that i'm against all their duels and elo being deleted and instead just a disqualification? ...so many times people accuse me of shit i didn't wrote and keep putting words in my mouth

Actually the gap was something like this:
Duel ...played 1 minute ago
Duel ...played 2 minutes ago
Duel ...played 2 minutes ago
Duel ...played 3 minutes ago
etc.
El crey should have played lottery that day ...its amazing someone got lucky 10 times in a row playing 20 second duels.

I was wrong, it wasnt 3-4min it was 5-6

If you think this is a harsh punishment, then you clearly have not meet vril, he would perma-ban creyente on the spot.
Besides they took his elo not his skill, elo can be recovered if he duels players with high elo.

I didnt even get one PM from 'mysterious' guy who took and cleared all my elo, rather then talking with me so i could explain. they can even look in the game history to see how it was won. Yes it would turn out it was more legit then they tought---> then they heared from some haters. I wont say anything more, this is final for me to much !*/*/*/*! they've treated me withoud respect gj to the management.

Chill bro, chill down... you must understand that an average of 4-5 minute long duels... aren't much of a duel. It's normal to think that it's a farm situation. Your elo is now back, Let's just not get too crazy here... let's take a deep breath and tomorrow everything will be forgotten and we'll be laughing about it before you even notice

i was too addicted to elo as you know, i wanted to get higher elo (i had 1355+ seasonal elo but thought it was not enough) before leaving for 1 month (i have hard exams in 1 month) so i wanted to make sure that i would keep my 1st place when i would've been inactive and i had no time to defeat clovis 20 times in a row it would've take 3+hours. well to make things clear i have seen few players do it (i don't think it's necessary to say their names)before me but nobody gave fuck about them so i thought it was legal, i didn't do any such things in the past. but it was not farming since i had 50% to win 60 elo and 50% to loose 250 elo, but if you insist that it was so be it.
they took away my elo for 1 single person's desire (not admin/mod) which is total bs and unfair, i had countless hours wasted in getting 1300+ and later 1400+ elos this season, and they took away all of my elo and all of my elo history i wasted few months to get such elo, and you took them in just couple of minutes that's total bs.
- clovis and eagle were only ones who were dueling me 24/7 and only true opponents of mine others were just blah winning once and refusing for rematch for few days.
it sucks that just because of 1 person's desire blitz got nerfed and all of my elo was taken (i have no idea why they took el's elo since he was playing malta vs cyprus nothing illegal, oh lemme guess so laochra would've gotten his undeserved 1st place)

i understand your rage but it makes me mad when they accuse me of farming when all of u would've laughed at me in case of clovis victory, but oh well.

my 500 duel plays got removed which is 10000% bs and is unfair punishment for so called "farming"

Do you seriously claim 1 person is responsable that you were punished?
Are you seriously still not seeing the unfairness of your actions?

I'm sorry because you lost your duels and elo, hope the punishment gets lowered ...but you are really delusional with some things.
