Community outcry

This community is one of the nicer ones iv ever seen, but everyone can tell that our patience is being tried at this point. The longer features are missing that a good amount of players bought premium for, the more you will see stronger and stronger discontent. We deserve to know what's going on, please stop keeping us in the dark and making vague promises that "map editor is coming" we either deserve a honest update to what the hell is going on, or a release date period, or things will get much much worse. This is in no way a shot at ivan or sun, you guys are doing a great job, this message is directly for amok, the one who is glad to take our money but hesitant to even tell us what's happening with editor, all we get is "I'm busy" and "comming soon" I bought premium to make maps, and this might come off as aggressive but I'm tired, really tired of this.

Not since html5 no, waiting for it to get better like we where told, but that's a whole diferent story, right now I only wish to create content which I enjoy doing alot.

I don't know if I'm leading a sheltered atWar life but the community in this game is more tolerant of noobs than most others, and is still quite nice.

There is nothing saying he has to do either other then what he says to us, after 6 months of development it should be done by now even if he give 30 minutes a day. Which is fine if we where not paying customers, which again alot of us bought the premium for map editor, which has been missing for half a year now. Let me tell you guys a little story (true story) - take what you want from it.
There is this game called GTA5 - it was one of the most sold games of it's year and it's franchise. It was released with tons of features in campaign mode but no Online play like players were promised. Not to worry - online was released 1 month later and was horrible (due to servers). At least it had a good campaign so players did not mind waiting a little for servers to balance out and bugs to get patched.

Around November, servers were playable and players flooded them with many hours. People played GTA5 online like it was their job - but they all knew one major thing was missing. It was something that players looked at and bought the $60 just for it. Heists. Heists were advertised as free-roam bank robberies with intricate planning and lots of variety and fun. Rockstar (admins/devs) made an announcement saying they were going to be a bit late. The community took their word and played for a few months and asked again, when will Heists be out? Again they responded by the end of Spring (July). So everyone waited playing their game, but also putting in time for other game at this point.

We are at summer now, and Heists are no where to be seen, Rockstar has added in new features that were fun/cool for a few days but got boring really quick since everything cost-ed so much (in game currency) that you just had to grind hours and hours to earn. The community was very let down at this point, but many loyal fans remained - while beginning to search for another game to play on the side. One year anniversary began to approach with no news about Heists. There was lots of 'events' done leading up to winter and one year anniversary but at this point the player base had shrunk from one of the largest player bases to a medium sized player base.

In January, 1 year and 5 months later we finally get news and a trailer that heists are coming out in February with a sneak peak implying everything that was advertised (free-mode robberies, player based plans to escape, and everything you could want in a heist). The heists realised, and players flooded the game once again only to be let down with the heists. They were basically co-op campaign games with close to no freedom (since you had to do as it instructed) and got close to no money from them.

Players quickly left GTA5 and rarely go back on to play, and if they do - it's for short periods of time to mess around with friends. GTA5 online is more or less a ghost town (for a AAA game).

For those who's skills are limited let me tell you what I would take away from it:
The longer admins take to release map editor, the higher the expectation(s) will be.

Lol,are you stupid?people work for 8h a day,and have their RL.......
In my situation:
I wake up(6h),go to college,dont skip any lectures.
After college(around 12h)i go to the restaurant where i work as waiter(working 4h(half of normal working time because im student) )
Then i come home,play this fucking game or go out. Im styding on weekends for exam
You dont need to lose RL to work,its just apology for laziness.
BTW, I know people that have much more no-free time,but they didn't lose RL

BTW2. Stop ball licking admins,you won't become mod,see how croat changed back to when he was times ago when he got that in brain.

When Hell paid Atwar for this feature, he has the right to call for its implementation.

The old feature is broken, and can't be access with google chrome/opera/brave, because silverlight is no longer supported.

Its actually more than that.

New Maps & New Scenarios can't be played even if they are clones of an already working map. Editing already existing maps is volatile as it could either glitch them or make them unplayable (it seems like borders and units are more likely to glitch than data such as cities and reinforcements.

this bug has been reported since the silverlight and html5 server got split. When I told admins about it, they said they were working and then i went inactive, but as you can see it has been reported over and over again.

Having to wait up to 2 weeks for a map to be playable is irritating.

I assume you are joking. In the past, Atwar highlighted lifetime premium purchase as to include later upgrades and features (Of course they have changed now). In the matter of contract law, to deny them enforcing consumer right is breach of contract. In addition, the people may have grounds to sue in law for misrepresentation.

What they did grant you the right to was to access to future premium features. Not to demand them. You would only be right if the Map Editor was already available and implemented, then you get the access denied.

You guys do have access to a map editor (Silverlight one). The quality of it is questionable, however, the premium that you guys bought doesn't promise top-quality tools.

While is nice that Jschumper will be able to play his own maps, it will be a shame when he notices that he can't host any map created before a server update.

The Map editor have a couple of bugs as Tunder said some posts above. However you can still edit your current maps and also create a new one (which will be available in the next server restart, as Tunder poined out above). What you're trying to do here is to make the current Map editor looks unusable, when in fact it is not.

Map creators should always be able to host their own maps and scenarios, even without Premium. What you experienced was a bug that no one has reported - I've fixed it now.

I can see you were part of the group witch he by himself said that missed the point. His problem was pretty much that he could NOT start the map that he made not that he couldn't make maps.

His Issue has also been solved before this thread was made, therefore, this is a bad example for you to say "promises which never come true".
