Just voted "NO" and I broke a 15-15 tie, interesting that opinions are so mixed on this. I guess my question would just be why do you feel we need an anti-tank unit? It seems to me that tanks are from from OP, so anything that is designed to hinder them would mess with the balance of a game that is incredibly well balanced. If anything infantry could be argued as being the best troop and in need of something to specialize against them, but I dont think we need that either.

How about this, we get Amok and Ivan to add a feature to the game where players can create their own battlefields with their own custom units. This way players who are tired of playing with the same old default units and have this awesome idea for a new unit can clone the world map and add their custom unit to the mix of default units and see how it all plays out. Then after that the devs won't have to change the default units just to please every player who joins the game and says "hey we need a new unit" because the player will be able to create it themselves instead of having to ask for it in the forum. This to me would make more sense then changing the default units since they are already balanced.

I voted no. Tanks are not exactly op anyway even as RA and tanks do not have a strong defence so do not really need some strong unit to attack them. PD also has +1 defence against tanks so another way to nerf tanks isnt good. +3 attack is also a lot when a standard tank only has 4 defence anyway. I think a unit with 5 attack is quite strong even, but not needed as there is already bombers and helis with 6 attack and inf with 4.
How much would the unit cost? When you say like militia you mean the cost or the defence, range etc.? as there is a default unit, which as standard has 4 defence and 8 attack. You dont really give any info about the unit at all. I agree with previous comments that you should just use map making to test out unit ideas untill you find a suitable one.
