Do players really expect the map-maker to be completed any earlier with threads like this? Its clear that players don't have any idea of the massive undertaking the map making project is, yes its unfortunate the old map-editor is not available on certain browsers, however that is an issue that players should take with the companies abandoning Silverlight, not atWar. I can request more server restarts so maps can be published more frequently - the same tools are still available as before and no 'consumer rights' have been breached. Surely if we were trying to silence the community you wouldn't be able to find about 20-30 similar threads on our own forums.

There are some points I want to clarify:
1. I do have no knowledge in this matter. I am no longer an active player

2. I base my argument on the facts other players drew in this thread, in the thread "Amok lied, people died", and the constant complaint I can see in forums

3. The facts may be wrong (I do not verify them. I do not have the same amount of time as you have spent in a virtual game) but they all unmistakenly pointed to a same conclusion - The system is flawed and need remedial measures

4. The map makers relied upon Amok's promises that remedial measures are to be implemented soon. I agree that the undertaking is huge. But if you cannot make it, do not make assurance. With delay, it is reasonable a part of the community would be disappointed or angry.

5. @Consumer right: With the wrong facts (Clarified by Sun Tzu) I admit there is no such consumer right. I apologize for relying on Honest Aztec who is dishonest in this matter. But players like Hell simply to express his the disappointment and anger is reasonable and tolerable

6. Again, please do not force them to eat shit. If the grievanced remains silence, nothing will effect in a foreseeable time.

7. I am up with these threads either. I do not like cry threads. But it is more disgusting to see players who unduly defend their masters and denied others' reasonable assertion of pressure for an assured promise, reasonable express of disappointment for an unsatisfied promise and reasonable call for improved quality for the game they paid

P.S. 1: I rarely posted in forum. I posted only because you designed a quote for Amok, then said "Let me be direct then. Would you rather want Amok to drop his RL just to finish this Map Editor?". The level of licking is stretched too far

2. Shifting responsibility to the community by categorizing them as cry threads is easy. However, but for the fact that Amok made this statement, players would not have assumed the heavy undertakings have been resolved, would not have reasonably expected it to be implemented soon, and would not in turn have reacted in this way

3. This is a poor display of public relations. To imply the disappointment as cry threads is even worse

4. I think an apology or a statement clarifying the expected commencement date by admin will better help tackle the "cry" instead of commenting "Another thread" everywhere

The Map editor have a couple of bugs as Tunder said some posts above. However you can still edit your current maps and also create a new one (which will be available in the next server restart, as Tunder poined out above). What you're trying to do here is to make the current Map editor looks unusable, when in fact it is not.

if it takes 15 days for my maps to be playable, then the map editor is useless.

I can see you were part of the group witch he by himself said that missed the point. His problem was pretty much that he could NOT start the map that he made not that he couldn't make maps.

His Issue has also been solved before this thread was made, therefore, this is a bad example for you to say "promises which never come true".

Like I said bugs effect everyone diferently, what breaks my rig might not effect you at all. But iv spoken to many people who randomly disconnect, just like me, everytime they go to save, but I don't want them to fix some stupid bug on a outdated server, we don't want any distractions on a three month late release on a feature that was already available when I purchased premium.

Edit: that's scenario editor it's a totally diferent thing then the actual map editor. Diference being you spend 45 minutes making a scenario in scenario editor and 3 months in map editor making the map.

I can not on any browser save my map without a bunch of errors every single time. This is a problem that I was ok when map editor was promised in november, then again in january, then now again, march/april. This is my problem, now amok says I don't know when I'm busy, after time and time again failing me, on every dead line, now I feel betrayed,I'm sorry my tolerance has run out.

first point is about whats happening to SL map editor:
When you make new map in SL map editor,edit it,save,and try to load in html5,it doesnt work......
Second point is about rights:
You are talking that we don't have rights to demand map maker,because it is new feature,
I think that you understood this but you cant stop ball licking now.
MapMaker is an old feature,and befure you tell that we have it in SL,IT IS BROKEN.
Why:Servers on SL are falling a lot times,and as i told in first point

Also, all this topics are utterly useless... you can complain once or twice, but 100 times is simply too much. You won't get anything from this. If you have complains, make it reach to admins personally... nothing will be gained by posting complains here, it's the sad truth

Well... I'm not saying I don't respect it nor that I don't support it, but I admit it's starting to get annoying and I doubt the effectiveness since Amok could simply ignore all that's written here. I consider a direct approach to be more effective in this case.

I repeat, there's only a way to get what you want and that is by finally letting Amok finish it. Complaining here won't take you anywhere since the community can't do anything about it. Take the complain personally to Amok. I hope you understood my point.

Are you sure? After all these months? Why not giving a try and go for a direct approach to amok? Maybe he could explain you what's going on in a private message and dissolve your doubts. If this didn't help, then you could always return to protest on a public level again, and this time with further information on your hands.

I have tried go try yourself, he will ignore you like everyone else, compromise is always the best answer and the first thing I tried, he does, not respond, ivan will ocassionally and, sun almost always.

If he ignores you on a personal level, then he will do the same on a public level... not sure if he has personal reasons to do so such as having trolled him in the past or that he simply doesn't care about your issues. I personally have never talked to amok so I don't feel empowered to judge him.

As for Ivan, I've talked with him a few times about translation issues. If I recall right, he has always answered me so far. As for sun, he also usually answers as well. But they can't do anything about this, only amok can... so there's only one solution, get an answer from him. Talk with a mod that might have a closer contact with him for instance.
