Make a 2v2 tournament?

Its been a long time since last 2v2 tournament.Its one of the must fun tournaments so why not start one again? You would think why i don't start one...well I'm too inactive to do that and it will fail.

This was tried, but it is almost impossible to get 4 players online at the same time... I think the idea of a 2v2 tourney but in leagues with points where 2 people from one league play another has been suggested before
