World Map 2.0 has arrived!

Our new map has officially been released. Big thanks to the Game Meta team for completing this massive project! Be sure to check out the presets as well

We are eager to hear your feedback so we can make further adjustments and improvements. Please let us know what you think.

Don't worry, the original World Map will always be available, forever -- but someday we plan to make World Map 2.0 the new default map, so we want to get it right.

Double SP Weekend

This weekend (March 25-26) is a Double SP Weekend, so be sure not to miss it!

Thanks to all our donators who contributed to our Support for Ukraine fund, we raised 17,256 ProtoCoins together. I have turned this into a $173 USD donation to the United Ukrainian American Relief Committee. I also decided to match what you raised 1-to-1 with my own funds, and donated another $173 to the Red Cross.

UPDATE 3/17 -- after a couple more last minute donations I was able to donate another $122 to the Red Cross. This brings the grand total raised to $486 USD. A heartfelt thanks to the atWar community -- there truly are some good, kind people here. ♥

Introduction

I enjoy reading "year in review" posts from others, but I never seem to find time to write my own. Nevertheless, atWar has been in my thoughts a lot lately, so I've decided to give it a try. Consider this my tardy report on the last 3 years of atWar, what I've been working on, and what my plans are for the future.

Origins of my ownership of atWar

To begin, I think I must recap the story of how I came to own atWar, since I realize there are many new faces around here who may not be aware of it.

As promised, we have revised the Official Clan War Rules for 2022. Last season we piloted the brand new playoffs/brackets system for the first time. This year we will be keeping the playoffs system, but making a few changes based on the feedback we received. Most notably, we have removed the 70-games minimum to qualify, and removed the restriction on clans created more than 14 days after the start of the season.

Hey everybody, it's that time again... Santa is back on the World Map, delivering destruction (and ProtoCoins) for the holidays!

How does this work, you ask?

Well, find the Santa Claus unit, follow the instructions below, and get 300 ProtoCoins! Here's what you need to do:

1) Find the Santa Claus unit (you must own it, not belonging to another player)
2) Take a screenshot
3) Post the screenshot and game link here on this thread
