This is a badass tank for Germany post-world war 2 in my new map following an alternate German victory of World War 2. NGL this is one OP tank and I wish anyone luck who faces a 18/4 tank for only 320!!

Lmao. Only 18? IMO better make it a city, as the idea didn't get through due to it's immobility. And only 340? Seriously?

Btw, you may want to boost the HP a little, it's useless due to its cost and low HP.

No then it means nothing at all. If it isn't a unit it does nothing. As a city it would be making other units which makes no sense I get its an artillery but artillery aren't cities like Berlin they are units in an army

The point is, this thing was never built, because it wasn't movable. Create the unit with 1 movement, and a bitch of attack and defense, you have some more or less realistic unit then. In reality this thing would have been taken out by air forces or enemy artillery easily, which was, why albert speer stopped the funding for this project soon after it was first proposed.
Also the thing would have been fucking expensive in reality, if you take a normal tank at 120, 320 is really underpriced.

I don't think you are understanding this scenario. This is an alternate world. Germany wins WW2 and captures UK while destroying Moscow and taking over eastern Africa and eastern Mediterrean. This isn't a true map as it never happened. It was discontinued but it makes sense that Germany could and perhaps would continue produces massive tanks if they had the resources and enough peace time to do so. This war scenario is set in 1948 and Germany is more than rich enough to make goods which is why the tanks are cheap, here Germany doesn't have to import many materials now that they control the Caucasus therefore it is not super-expensive for the power it has.

It does, the 1500P was artillery. Artillery doesn't go on the same battlefield with enemy troops. It shoots from afar. And it's immobile as hell, no bridges. No big enough roads.

This is what I'm trying to propose.
EDIT: Wait, you mean being able to take out a whole PD infantry division?

I think a lot of you miss the point in this weapon actually.
The problem is, the P1500 would have sucked on so many levels. It was immobile, it's weaponry wasn't good and it would have been a bitch to produce/maintain.
The P1500 would have used the Dora-Cannon as main-cannon, which sucked. It had a miserable range of max. 50km (todays Artillery easily have 400km range), wasn't precise and took a loading time of at least 20 minutes. Basicly it was a siege-weapon to break bunkers and defences, which had to be brought close to the battlefield (remember the 50km range). It was not made to target units, or moving targets, attacking tanks or even infantry with this gun would have been useless.
So if the developement actually succeded, you would have had a slow like fuck weapon, which had to be brought to the battlefield as the range wouldn't be wide and at the same time would be a HUGE target for enemy bombers/artillery. The same pretty much goes for the p1000, which would have used a ship artillery battery instead of the dora-cannon.
About the costs; if you put the normal Tiger tank (which was the standard German heavy tank in WWII) at 120 for production, the p1500 would have 26 times that costs (the ressources needed to build this thing are 26 times the Tiger tank, only counting ressources), calculate that up to the 120 and you get a cost of 3120. GG with your 320 there.

I think you confuse this with the PzH2000, a modern day German artillery-tank. (One of the best actually). But that's something different and not at all related to the p1500 "Monster" and p1000 "Ratte".

No no, they were plans for a P2000 Gott. Some sort of bigass artillery. The p1500 looked a lot smaller compared to it.
